Following the success of the first edition of their workshop in 2022, C2C Mentors LLC have picked up from where they stopped to hold the second edition of the Free First Time Home Ownership Workshop in Texas.

The event, which is geared to correcting the mistakes made by those in the process of becoming homeowners for the first time, was held at the Society of Africans in the Diaspora (SAiD) in Houston Texas on March 26, 2022.

Speaking after the event Franco Bonghan, the CEO of C2C Mentors said that he is impressed with the turnup and the fact that people are beginning to take home ownership education very seriously.

He said that only those who are able to accept that there is a problem, go for the solution, adding that those who have painstakingly learned how to work through a problem, reach their goal with ease.

“C2C Mentors LLC is just more than a real estate company because we want our passion to show in what we are doing. Home ownership for first timers and minority population is always a rigorous process and one that needs certain kind of education”

“What we are doing is make people navigate the process with so much ease. We are creating a platform that will ensure that they jump the huddles of the process with so much ease”, he said.

Speaking during the event, Credit Restoration expert and First Vice President of the Houston Black Real Estate Association, Mrs. Felicia Guidry encouraged the participants to get their resources in perspective.

She said that financial literacy can only be achieved through proper credit education and home ownership is a byproduct of good credit, sealing it with her famous “GRIP” quote, meaning “Get Your Resources in perspective”

Speaking on what is expected during the home ownership process in the United States of America, Mr. Dwayne Graham, a top 1% mortgage originator and Branch Manager of New American Funding in Sugar Land Texas, prepared the participants with great tips on how to navigate with success.
